SINGLE LOAD CONTROL UNIT
The single load control unit serves for tensioning a structural element and for keeping the tensile load constant. Using the load control unit the load impacting on a structure can be adjusted to a constant value and it can be recorded by an electronic measuring system, if required. The load control unit even compensates load fluctuations caused by dynamic loads (e. g. minor earthquakes, bell ringing, changes in temperature and moisture, wind pressure).
TWO-WAY LOAD CONTROL UNIT
The two-way load control unit is a device for supporting a structural element and for keeping the tensile and compressive loads constant. It allows to adjust the load of a structure to a constant value, to keep it and, as an option, to record it with an electronic measuring device. The two-way load control unit even compensates load fluctuations caused by dynamic loads (e. g. minor earthquakes, bell ringing, changes in temperature and moisture, wind pressure).
- Buildings that have to be supported and strengthened in the course of preservation and conversion
- For supporting vaults the load control unit is installed so that it is visible to the support system or not visible in a single component (e.g. as wall recess).
- The load transfer from the existing support system into the surrounding material can be effected either via adhesion using a special composite mortar (e.g. masonry walling, concrete construction) or via contact connection (e.g. end plates over steel bars).
