Endoscope

An endoscope is a hose system that allows to look into hollows minimally invasively. Depending on the equipment, work (rinsing, sampling, etc.) can be performed as well. The hose system consists of a (flexible) tube covering some thinner hoses, cables, bundles, etc.: cold lighting wire (fibre optics), image bundles, water and/or air pipes (for rinsing, widening/dilatation, aspiration, etc.), ducts for working equipment, cable pulls for controlling the endoscope, etc. The tube covering varies according to the application requirements. The endoscopy belongs to the non-destructive materials testing methods.
