Radar

Radar (radio detection and ranging / construction) measurement belongs to the non-destructive test methods in the field of construction. By sending electro-magnetic waves and receiving the reflections, the condition inside a structural element is determined and documented using radar graphs. Possible applications are location of cavities, cracks, reinforcement steel, conducts, thickness of the concrete cover, check of work performed already during the construction phase, etc. As radar measurement is a non-destructive test method that provides reliable results, it is well applicable for determining the condition of historic objects.
