Silicone micro emulsion

The dispersed phase of a silicone micro emulsion is a blend of monomer and oligomer silica compounds (silanes and siloxanes) as well as silicone forming emulsifiers. Pouring SMK concentrate into water causes a spontaneous fine distribution of the dispersed phase in the dispersion and transport medium water and makes the silicone micro emulsion ready for use. After the injection of this low-viscous liquid e.g. into masonry a water repellent silicone film forms and the surplus of water evaporates. Guidelines on masonry injection are specified in the WTA leaflet 4-10-15/D. Injection process with certified injection materials against capillary moisture transport.
