REACH Regulation

The European regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals came into force on June 1, 2007. In order to protect health and environment but also to simplify transport, chemicals produced, traded (imports as well), and used within Europe must be registered. After a chemical has passed through the REACH authorization procedure, it is included in the respective REACH list (positive, negative, limited, etc.).
