Materials testing (construction)

Material tests are made e.g. to check the material appropriateness, recipes, quality of the work performed, etc. There are a lot of test methods that can basically be divided into two categories: destructive tests and non-destructive tests. By the use of destructive tests as e.g. core samples, stone extraction, the structural element gets damaged or even disabled. All test methods that do not have any negative impact on the working order or usability of the object to be tested even if they leave their marks due to the application e.g. on the surface, belong to the non-destructive test methods as e.g. ultrasonic measurements, rebound hammer.
