Tunnel rehabilitation

If the condition of a tunnel does not guarantee the safety standards it must be reconditioned. The spectrum is manifold, e.g. improvement of technical equipment (fire protection requirements, lighting, etc.), repair and sealing measures of the tunnel body, partial or complete renewal of the tunnel, etc. Some repair and sealing measures are e.g. friction-based or sealing filling of cracks, injection for sealing the outside wall, hydrophobizing of the inside wall for protection against humidity and harmful substances (splashing water, salt, etc.), stabilisation of the surrounding ground, anchorage.
