Compaction of concrete
By compacting the fresh concrete the unwanted entrapped air, air voids, and cavities will be released. Compaction of concrete can be carried out through vibration, by rodding, with rollers (roller compacted concrete RCC), by striking off, knocking at the framework, etc.
